CASILLERO DEL DIABLO RESERVA CHARDONNAY, CHILE

With characteristic ripe fruit aromas, smooth acidity, and freshness this white variety may be aged in oak barrels. Casillero del Diablo has created a unique Chardonnay with grapes from the Casablanca Valley. The vineyards receive the cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean, and develop a mineral style due to the unique composition of its soils.

APPELLATION – Limarí & Casablanca valleys.

SOIL – Mainly alluvial with some colluvial soils.

AGEING – Aged in French oak barrels and fermented in stainless steel tanks.

COLOUR – Light, lemon yellow.

NOSE – Fresh and frutal, with notes of pineapple, citrus and peaches, with soft notes
of vanilla.

PALATE – Complex, good balance and fresh acidity, a mid-bodied wine with a long,
sweet finish.

FOOD PAIRING – Great with fish, seafood and creamy pasta dishes.
