Cinque Autoctoni Collection Limited Release 2017
The fermentation of this deep garnet red special edition of the Cinque Autoctoni took place in selected barriques from Seguin Moreau, the most important Tonnellerie in the world. With its aromas of cherries, black currants, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, and liquorice, it shows the true taste of southern Italy.
33% Montepulciano. 30% Primitivo 25% Sangiovese 7% Negroamaro 5% Malvasia Nera
Vinification: Soft stalk – stripping. Maceration – fermentation for 25 days. Malolactic fermentation in barriques followed by 13 months maturation.
Pairs well with rich entrees, red meat, and medium and long seasoned cheese.
