J.J. Whitley spent much of his childhood in old Georgian and Victorian vicarages, latterly in Daresbury – the birthplace of Lewis Carroll. These vicarages would have had expansive kitchen gardens and natural hedgerows in which the young J.J. would have played. As he grew older, the English countryside became the natural source of key ingredients for tantalising recipes like this Elderflower Gin, made with real elderflower extract.

Tasting Notes:
Candied sweetness, dominated by the unmistakable punch of elderflower with flicks of grassiness, orange blossom and honey.
